By downloading, installing, or using My Athlete ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
My Athlete is a youth sports development tracking application that allows parents, guardians, and coaches to record physical measurements and sport-specific assessments for young athletes. The app provides developmental stage guidance, CDC growth percentile calculations, progress tracking, and team collaboration features.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Ensuring that athlete data you enter is accurate
- Obtaining consent from parents/guardians before adding their children's information
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Enter false or misleading information
- Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app to harass, bully, or harm any individual
5. Medical Disclaimer
My Athlete is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. CDC growth percentiles, developmental stage recommendations, and nutrition/recovery guides are provided for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions regarding your child's health and development.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of My Athlete — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, assessment definitions, and scoring algorithms — are owned by My Athlete LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
My Athlete is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, inaccurate calculations, or service interruptions.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
